So yesterday was Diwali, and our friend Ajay must be about the only Hindu in Frankfurt, so it seemed appropriate that we help him celebrate with a ton of home cooked Indian food and a shitload of candles. Props to the Bolton boy himself for whipping up kickass chicken curry (check the pic), although it was truly no match for my mighty lamb biryani.
Isi and Muri also busted out Singstar on the Playstation... the German version, complete with 'Wind of Change' by The Scorpions (the singing of which by Nat surely has given me ear cancer) but, to my huge disappointment, sadly lacking in any Hasselhoff action.

Big Bish's 30th
The beautiful big sister, Becky, of my beautiful girlfriend, Natalie, joined me in reaching the ripe old age of 30 last weekend. Congrats Becky. It's not as bad as you think, now that you're here.
We flew back to Bournemouth for the party, and had an absolute blinder - amazing weather for it too. Thanks for a great weekend to everyone who was there.
Although, it's a shame that Winter has finally arrived in Frankfurt. We came back to 4°C. Still, after having such an amazing summer, it's kind of nice to feel a proper change in the seasons. Time to get out with the camera and get some nice Autumn pics.
Party photos are HERE!
WRC Spain 2009!
So two weekends ago we were in Salou for WRC Spain. Saw the rally, met the drivers, had VIP lunch, took a tour of the TV trucks and service area.
All told, it was an amazing weekend. Massive thanks to my big brother David, who actually won the trip himself, but was generous enough to give the prize the Nat and I. David... you're a hero! Hope the goody bag that we sent you arrived in one piece.
Pics from the whole weekend are HERE!
Hope you like them.

Countdown
Well one week today I (Bish) will officially no longer be gainfully employed and the countdown will truly begin.
Until then I suppose I should carry on with the seemingly never-ending packing and sorting. But then I never was the most efficient at packing so it seems right that its taking me forever.
The rest of our stuff that we're leaving behind should go in to storage this weekend, then after we get back from the Isle of Wight festival (Can't wait!) my Mum comes to help me pack the final bits and clean the flat ready to hand back over to the landlord. Thank god for Mums.
Well. My first post and it is truly truly boring. I'm sure more exciting things will happen that I can write about soon..............

Wilkommen!
I've just spent the last couple of hours messing about with this instead of doing my accounts for May, not because it's particularly fun, but because I am a world class procrastinator.
Seriously, I could procrastinate for England, given the chance. Given the chance though, I imagine I'd find something else I'd rather do instead.
Actually, it's not an entirely pointless excercise. The idea of this page is to keep people at home up to date with what we're up to while we're auf Deutschland, to give me a place to stick my Frankfurt photos, and hopefully to help people plan when they want to come and see us.
Right, I'll leave it there for the moment as I'm shattered after getting up today at 5am to catch my flight over here, but I'll probably wite some more tomorrow. Unless I find something else to do...
